This is a school assignment in the 2D Visualization course to learn how effectively complex studies and data can be illustrated in a way that the viewer can easily understand.

This is the final deliverable of the infographic design of how to succeed in a startup business in Canada.

Since the viewers are the challengers who want to start their journey of new businesses, I wanted to composite the data as if this is their roadmap. I separated the design into two parts - before starting the business and after opening the business.

In the first part which is before starting a new business, the travellers encounter new data to help them consider location, education and age to open a new business along the way.

In the bottom part which is after starting the business, although it is harsh, there are major three groups one lasts only a year, another last 5 years, and others last more than 10 years. As the background of the information of how many years the companies last, a image of annual tree ring is displayed to relate to the years of survival in business.
